The Association is known as The Warrington & District Seniors’ Bowls Association.
Membership is open to Bowling Clubs using greens in various Public Parks and Recreation Clubs located within a reasonable distance from the centre of Warrington. Clubs wishing to become members of the association must be Proposed, Seconded and deemed acceptable to existing clubs in membership.
The Object of the Association is to organise League and Competition bowls matches played under B.C.G.B.A. Laws and Byelaws and to foster the spirit of good fellowship among members.
Membership is open to Males who have attained the age of 60 years on 1st January preceding the season of their registration, after such registration they will be eligible to play in League and Competition Matches.
League matches consist of approximately 24-26 matches in a season, which are mostly played on Monday afternoons, with the occasional Wednesday fixtures to cover Bank holidays and other required fixture matches.
The present strength of the Association is 26 Teams playing in two sections “A” Section and “B”Section .
